Made to Order: Custom and Bespoke Millinery
A special bespoke headpiece or hat can be made just for you.
It may be one of our designs with a different colour or trim or an unique custom millinery piece to suit your outfit and style.
Bespoke hats include special occasion headwear for the races, weddings, and other events as well as casual hats.
During the appointment we will discuss your event, outfit and ideas to create your perfect headwear. Felicity Northeast can guide you on headwear styles, colours and trims to suit your face shape, outfit and style.
If you need a little inspiration, take a look at our current collections, photo gallery and previous collections. And head to @felicitynortheastmillinery Instagram to try on the virtual hats
Appointments: Can be made at either my Fitzroy (Melbourne) showroom or Mount Eliza, (Mornington Peninsula) studio.
If you can’t make it in person, that’s not a problem, a video consultation or a discussion over email can be organised. Providing a picture of your face, head measurement, and image of your outfit, is enough information to start creating your perfect piece from a distance.
The first appointment will be approximately 30-45 mins
Timeline: Ideally a piece will take between 2-6 weeks to create, depending of course on the style and availability of the materials. Melbourne Spring Carnival is an exceptionally busy time, so please make a booking in advance, even if you haven’t organised your outfit.
You will receive updates during the process.
Cost and payment: Custom pieces are usually priced similarly to our millinery online, ready to wear collections. Headbands start from $250 and hats from $400.
A 50% deposit will be required when ordering, the remainder paid when collecting your headwear or before postage.
Payment methods accepted are bank deposit transfer, cash, Visa Mastercard or Paypal
Delivery: Hats can be collected at Mount Eliza or Fitzroy studios.
Shipping (in Australia or overseas) can be organised and costed. See here for more details
