Derby Day Boater

The Derby Day Boater is a design to be loved by all.

A wide-brim boater features a black crown with a white brim crown. Finished with large handmade silk embossed flowers.  Trimmed with silk satin tie reflecting a traditional neck tie.

The panama straw is handwoven in Ecuador (sourced from a sustainable and ethical supplier) while blocked and hand finished in Australia by Felicity Northeast Millinery. Trimmed with wide grosgrain ribbon, which is tied on an angle. The Derby Day Boater edge has a light wire incorporated to ensure the brim will keep its shape, and a fine ribbon finish on the underside.

The  Derby Day Boater allows you to wear it straight across or at an angle, flattering all face shapes effortlessly. A timeless favourite design which will take you, to the Melbourne Cup, the country races or polo or out to an alfresco wedding.
